If you still reach internetbadguys.com while pointing DNS to Umbrella, it means your queries aren’t really going to the OpenDNS resolvers. On a Mac this often happens if DHCP or the Wi-Fi router overrides your manual DNS, or if the ISP intercepts DNS and forces it to their own servers. An easy check is to run dig internetbadguys.com @208.67.220.220
; if the site resolves, the traffic is bypassing Umbrella. Make sure your active interface is really set to the Umbrella IPs and that your public IP is showing as protected in the Umbrella dashboard. Once the queries truly flow to 208.67.220.220/222.222, the test site will be blocked.
