If this is true, Does Umbrella have the same capabilitie??

last question ... finally, what would be the difference between Umbrella and the URL filter if both protect you from the DNS layer???

Are you mean NGFW??.... or an specific model???

NGFW is sufficient, don't need to know the exact model. The capabilities for DNS filtering in the NGFW are different from what is offered by Umbrella. One being an appliance and the other being a cloud service, there are architectural differences between the two that result in different protection.

We encourage customers to use both, as this provides the best possible security.
