I'm currently facing issues with our Cisco Secure Web Appliance S300V, which we use as our company's proxy server. Recently, we were instructed to use the Signal Desktop App for communication, but I’ve been encountering multiple problems. The QR code required for authentication fails to appear. I’ve tried several solutions, such as creating a custom URL category for ".signal.org" and "chat.signal.org," and exempting these URLs in the local proxy settings, but nothing has resolved the issue. Policy traces for "chat.signal.org" result in errors like "Connection to Origin Server Failed" and "Request blocked: Gateway timed out."
If anyone could provide detailed instructions on how to fix this, I would greatly appreciate it!
