http traffic denied & intermittent issue

Hi all,

We have a unit of S170 deployed in the network.

-Wccp redirection at Core switch: (ip wccp web-cache redirect out) on its internet uplink interface

-McAfee, WebRoot, Web Usage Control, Web Reputation Filters all turned on

-No restriction of any sort, only blocking of porn sites

Problem Statement:

All http traffic does not get through, on the browser it will just keep loading.

However https traffic is fine.

Troubleshoot

-Tried disabling & enabling all WSA policy services, apparently it work fine, ONLY UNTIL A FEW HOURS LATER. ISSUE RETURNS, http traffic no longer works.

-Tried rebooting the WSA too. Works fine for couple of hours, same issue returns.

Please advise, if there is any potential configuration/license issue that might be causing this

Regards

No licensing issue causing this however I would re-examine your configuration on the switch. wccp redirect-out is not recommended as it is more cpu-intensive. HTTPS would work fine because web-cache is port 80 not port 443. You can contact support for assistance or your channel partner.
