IronPort SITE Configuration for PR and DR

Hi All,

Presently we have two Iron port Web Security Appliance at PR site.

Each appliance having physical IP and same cluster IP.Every client using cluster IP as a proxy for browsing Internet.

Now we are proposing another two Iron port Web Security Appliance at DR site for BCP.

How can we configure these two Iron Port appliance in a same manner of PR? and how it work?

Client proxy IP should be same which is at PR, There should not be any client intervention.How can we achieve this?

Hi Arjun,

Web Security Appliance has no cluster capablity. You could use a SMA (Security Management Appliance) to configure all 4 devices (2 PR and 2 DR).

The way I see, you could start loading a backup of the configuration, changing the IP address, netmask, gateway and then fine tunning it to permit the traffic to flow.
