Ironport xml configuration file compatible.

Hi.

I have new IronPort CiscoS680 and i want copy xml configuration from IronPort S670 but when I try import xml file i have error :

 "Configuration File was not loaded. ERROR: Element 'prox_acl_group_auth_group' not allowed here at Unknown:5484:52 Text "

I deleted all error lines but it nothing happens. All the time I have error.

The xml configuration file is compatible from other devices and OS version?

You can use configuration file from WSA different model to different model as long as the AsyncOS version are identical.

For example:

configuration file is using AsyncOS version 7.7.0 from S680 and you need to use this file and loads it to S670, this is achievable as long as the S670 is also running AsyncOS 7.7.0

If S670 is running say version 7.5 or version 8.0, you will be getting lots of error messages another after another since they are running on different platforms.

So would recommend to make both appliances running same AsyncOS version, either revert or upgrade one of the appliance to make the same OS version.
