Password protection in proxy mode: an alternative to Filezilla ?

Hi, latest Filezilla version (3.7.3) supports FTP proxy authentication with WSA (an others proxy), and this work fine. However, the logon and password informations are written in clear text in a local XML file on the user pc (filezilla.xml) ... So, any suggestion for a FTP client (free or not) that works with WSA and that protect the logon/password securely?
