Remote access VPN through WSA

Hi,

As we try to connect to the Remote server through remote access VPN it is not connecting but when we bypass the WSA proxy it is connecting.

Isn't is possible to connect to the Remote access VPN through the WSA proxy.

We have deployed WSA Proxy in forwarrd Explicit Mode.

Kindly suggest.

No, this isn't possible.

WSA works on HTTP/FTP protocols... they're open, do a transaction, get a response...

VPNs are a tunneling..., they grab all the packets, wrap them they are TCP packets on port 443, but they aren't http or ftp transactions.

But what if the port for that specific traffic that we use is port 443 for SSL. Would the WSA be able to identify that its not actually web traffic even using port 443?

No, the WSA doesn't try to figure out what the traffic is... I'm pretty sure it just drops stuff that doesn't conform to http.
