Do I require the email filter option on Ironport to stop spam zombies or is this done on the L4 filter?

Conorgeraghty,

The L4TM will block SMTP requests if the IP matches a blacklisted value. The ideal solution would be to block all outgoing port 25 requests, other then from specific mail servers, on your firewall.
