Dear Cisco Community,
I hope you're doing well! I’d like to suggest a valuable addition to the current Ethical Hacking course—an expanded set of Capture The Flag (CTF) challenges, with many being freely accessible.
CTFs provide a hands-on, interactive learning experience that helps cybersecurity learners apply theoretical knowledge to real-world problems. By incorporating more CTF challenges into the course, learners can test their skills, troubleshoot security issues, and develop practical expertise in a dynamic, competitive environment.
Making these challenges widely available, especially for free, would be incredibly beneficial. It would allow students from all backgrounds and financial situations to participate and learn as much as possible. Given the growing importance of ethical hacking in today's cybersecurity landscape, more exposure to these challenges could make a huge difference in preparing individuals for real-world security scenarios.
I believe this would not only enhance the learning experience but also attract a broader range of learners who might otherwise lack the resources to engage in such hands-on training.
Thank you for considering this suggestion, and I look forward to seeing the continued growth and success of the Cisco cybersecurity learning community.
Best regards,
Kirui
