We recently changed from a custom End User Notification URL to the ones supplied by the IronPort device. I know how to upload & download pages from the device and the variable names etc.
On the old custom URL I used ASP script to have the category="Advertisements" go to a blank page. If the category was not an advertisement continue. Here is the code:
<% if Request.QueryString("URL_Cat") ="Advertisements & Popups" then %>
((blank page))
<% else %>
My custom page...
<% end if %>
I know on the new page the variable %g is used for categories
%?g - if it exits
%g - else
%#g - endif
1) How do I write code that allows category="advertisements" go to a blank page else continue to the page.
2) What language is used on the HTML pages? I am not familiar with the use of %variable command
Thanks!

I don't believe this is possible with EUN pages served up from WSA.
I'll ask around with the sales team, but I'm fairly certain this is not doable.
We do have the following feature request, which is similar to what you're asking for:
39051 Feature Request: Need to be able to send blank notification page / TCP RST based on category
There is currently no ETA for this feature.
Thanks!
