WSA External Authentication via LDAP

Hi all,

We have a C160 and S160.

I have setup External Authentication via LDAP  on the C160 and works well.

I would like to do the same for the S160, however it only allows for Radius to be used.

Is there a plan to add LDAP authentication in future releases? as it is implemented in the Mail appliance.

We would like people to be able to use their domain accounts to log into the appliance and assign different rights depending on the group they belong to.

We don't want to use Radius as it only allows for all Radius Authenticated users to have full Admin rights.

I don't know about LDAP, but there are changes coming for RADIUS authentication so that you can do similar roles for the WSA as you can for the ESA.

Thanks for the reply.

I would prefer to use LDAP authentication with role groups.

However if role groups are being introduced for RADIUS, then that will be great for now.
