I’m running into a issue with the Webex App (Windows) where digits from the keyboard (numpad or number row) do not work during an active call only when the Calling Dock is enabled. If I toggle the Calling Dock off, the numpad and keyboard work normally. Is this a known issue in the current Webex release regarding the Calling Dock, users report that it worked fine last week?
I have tested this on multiple machines and reproduced the same behavior, so it does not appear tied to a specific user profile or workstation.
To rule out configuration or device issues, I’ve already done the following:
- Reinstalled Webex and deleted all cache/local directories
- Rebuilt the user’s CSF device in CUCM
- Confirmed keyboard and numpad function normally in Windows and inside Webex when the Calling Dock is not active
- Tested on multiple PCs and user accounts — same result
- Verified that Unity voicemail receives key presses normally when the Calling Dock is closed
For now, the only reliable workaround is:
- CTRL + SHIFT + X → toggle the Calling Dock off
- Enter voicemail PIN using the keyboard
- Re‑enable the Calling Dock after finishing
