Send group message through contact list

Are you able to send a group message using a contact list?

In Webex, collaboration groups are organized as teams and/or spaces. For sure, you can post messages in those spaces and all members may respond.

If you think of having a contact list in your app and send a dedicated message to each on in the corresponding 1:1 space, that is not possible via the app.

I see and understand spaces, but where are teams?  How do we send ad-hoc conversations to a small temporary ad-hoc group without having to create a space?  I also see Groups in the Contacts section, but don't see the purpose of those, can't send a message to a group.
