Problem sending student to breakout room

I have started using breakout rooms with my 3rd grade class. I have set up breakout rooms numerous times and I always have one student who doesn't get sent to a breakout room. It's the same student every time and I can't think of why he isn't being moved. When I am setting up the rooms, he doesn't appear in the participants list. But, his name is on his window when he is in the meeting. Any ideas?

We've had this issue a number of times now and have always found it to be that the user was running an older version of the client, i.e. they weren't running a 40.9 version of Webex Meetings. Once they upgraded it was sorted. I'm a site admin with access to Control Hub so could look at the versions being used.

Are you able to check how this student is joining the meeting? Check if any of these known items apply. Assuming you are using the latest Webex client and Cisco Webex Meetings? Is the student using the latest client as well?

I had a similar problem in a meeting last week but wasn't able to replicate it.  I had about 12 people in a meeting and 2 of them didn't show in the breakout panel.  Opened a TAC ticket and they had me start a meeting again with one of the attendees that this occurred with but we had no issues with them again.  Couldn't get the other person to join a meeting to test with so ended up closing the TAC ticket today.
