800 # issue

We attempted to dial in for our WebEx meeting connection today to the 800 #.  The number dials in fine (so the issue is not the phone).  However, the code for the meeting was not registering appropriately with WebEx.  Therefore, it could not connect us to the meeting.  It kept saying we were providing an incorrect meeting number.  However, if we used the direct dial number, the site took the meeting code correctly.

What is the issue.

Greetings, @ccorrigan

In a few words, if a user uses the PSTN to dial in, regardless of the 800 or the local Webex number, the digits send from the Client to Webex, are sent as DTMFs (https://www.techtarget.com/searchnetworking/definition/DTMF) from the local telephony provider -> PSTN -> Webex Side.

So, what probably is happening here is that the 800# Path is not processing correctly the DTMF, suggest opening a case with Webex TAC, and we can review what's going: https://help.webex.com/en-us/article/WBX38448/How-Do-I-Open-a-Case-for-Webex-Technical-Support?
