Apps button not showing inside Webex

HI.  I'm trying to help a new colleague with a weird problem.  She and I both work for the same company, and we use Webex for meetings etc.  As far as we can tell, she and I have the same access rights/permissions etc - we're just users, not admins.  We both use Webex in our browser (Chrome) on laptops, not via apps or tablets/phones.

I already run Webex meetings and sometimes use Slido as an app in the meetings, via the App button which appears in the bottom right corner of the Webex session page. (I've attached a screenshot to be clear which button I mean).

She also has a Slido account, which she can access separately (ie. their website).  We both login to Webex directly, and then login to Slido using the 'via Webex' option on the Slido signin page.

For me that connects Webex and Slido so I can access it inside Apps.  For her, she doesn't even get the Apps button in the bottom right .  According to the help pages we've seen, access to apps is set centrally, but we both have the same type of account.  Anyone know of any technical/setup reasons why the Apps button wouldn't be showing?

Thanks Alan

Hi.  Thanks for the thought, but it wasn't showing for her even as Host.  It's resolved now, but we're still not clear why.  In the end she rebooted her laptop and signed in again, and for some unknown reason it now works.  Seems it need systems to align somehow and the reboot enabled that.  Thanks

It is my understanding the apps button with Slido will show if you are the HOST of the meeting. Have her create a meeting as her being the host then you join as a participant and see if she sees the Slido app then.
