Can auto upgrades on launching Webex Teams and Meetings be disabled?

Hi all-

While I appreciate all the updates that are coming through, I find it annoying that Webex Teams will automatically upgrade itself if there's an update available, when you launch Teams. I'm running Teams on a Mac. So, what happens is that you have to wait for it to download, extract, then launch. Behind the scenes, the application is running out the the Library/Application Support/Cisco Spark/Webexteams_upgrades folder in the user's home directory when an upgrade is done this way. This means that the application installed globally in  /Applications/Webex Teams.app is still the old version and will need to be upgraded manually. It would be nice if under Preferences you could change the upgrade behavior such that when there is an upgrade available, it can either ask the user to install automatically (user's home directory) or allow the user to install (globally for all users). Not having it auto update on launch altogether would be nice and just put a little "Update" link in the upper right hand corner when there is an update available as Webex Meetings does. As it stands now, I have to go to the Webex downloads site and redownload and install anytime a new version comes out to get the global copy updated. Kind of a pain.

As for Webex Meetings, it is a similar problem, however at least Webex Meetings will let you update the global copy of the app in /Applications from the update mechanism built in the app without have to re-download from the website. The additional problem is that Webex Meetings will check for updates every time you join a meeting. So if there is a new version when you try to join a meeting, you have to wait for it to download and run when you launch a meeting, thereby delaying you from entering the meeting and having separate copies of version in the user's Library/Application Support/WebEx Folder/. I would like an option in Preferences to have it only use the installed version (/Applications/Cisco Webex Meetings.app) and not to check for new versions and force you to wait and launch the new version every time you join a new meeting.

Thanks,

Mark
