In Webex Teams? No. It is a persistent chat platform - the whole point is that it retains history. There are retention policies in Control Hub to automatically delete after a period of time, shortest being 1 month, but these policies apply to all chats and spaces I believe. If you don't want to see history, you could create a new space and add people to it instead of direct messaging them, then remove everyone and leave the space afterwards.
