How to organize contacts/spaces in webex messages?

Hey all,

I'm trying to find a way to organize the chat in WebEx Teams massages. I recently got connected to 20+ spaces.  I was hoping to see how to create a new tab or something so I can pull those into one so I can see pretty quickly the status of each without having to dig through the sea of contacts or spaces to find them all. Search each one is time consuming and I have to remember them all to search for 'em. Grouping them into a tab or something would be ideal.

Is this possible?

Thanks

Amy

Agree with the others; you can favorite certain spaces, and also create Teams to organize your spaces. If you do not add others to the Teams, you are the only one who sees them and it serves as an organizational tool for you alone. https://help.webex.com/en-US/article/hw96tfb/Webex-%7C-Manage-Your-Teams-and-Projects

Hi Ambraun,

Not sure if I understood it correctly, but do you mean have certain contacts available in a tab so they are easy to navigate?

I have certain contacts and spaces as Favourites which appear in favourites column on my messaging tab, on top.

You can mark a space/contact as favourite by doing a right click and "Add as favourite" , this way they are on top of your chats and hard to miss. I hope this is what you were looking for?

No, currently only flagging of spaces as favorites and attaching them at the top of your space list is possible.

Depending on your use case, Teams might be a solution: Within a team, you may create several spaces. Each team member may join any of these spaces, you may also add users to a teams space without adding him to the team. Team spaces appear like all others in your list, but you can also access them via the teams view in the app.

Thanks for the reply.
So I'm trying to organize my Team messaging contacts. Currently they are in one long list. I was trying to see if I could have more than just "favorites". As I wanted to break out MINT partners, Spaces around content development, immediate team, etc in a folder per. That way from one glance I can see how my MINT spaces are doing, or be able to quickly find the random named space for content that needs to be reviewed. I was hoping there was a way to organize ?? Any thoughts? Or have you seen anything that would be helpful?
