We use a personal VTC device for our conference room (I am aware that this is less than ideal) but speakers at the end of the conference table can't be heard through the Telepresence's touch screen controller. Because the EX90 is approaching EOL we went ahead and ordered Webex Deskpros to replace them.
To solve the issue we wanted some external microphones that would be compatible with both platforms and non-Bluetooth enabled. The only one on the market I was able to identify and purchase was the Jabra Speak 410. Both the EX90 and Deskpro have USB inputs for external microphones so I am hopeful this is a good solution but we won't see the Deskpros until next year I'm told.
With our current EX90s the Jabra Speak 410 lights up and all buttons work as expected when plugged in. We aren't getting any input or output from the device however. The Speak 410 is supposed to be plug and play so I assume this an issue with the EX90. Any guidance or advice would be greatly appreciated!
