Running webex Version 44.12.1.31417 on a MAC M3 Pro running 14.7.1 however this issue was present on other versions.
I stop getting messaging alert sounds once i read an unread message. Alerts are set up correctly and can be heard when testing the sound in Settings -> Notifications - > Messages, however no sound when a new message comes in from Webex on my MAC, despite the fact the alerts are set up correctly, but i get the alert tone on my iphone mobile app.
This condition persists unless/until i restart the Webex app and i get alerts again, until i read a message. This causes me to miss incoming messages or respond in a timely manner.
Does anyone else have this problem and know a fix or if Cisco is aware and investigating?
