.mp4 recording with 0 bytes?

I recorded a meeting but forgot to press "stop recording". now i got a mp4 file with 0 bytes and a .webex file with with ~300 MB (see attachment). Is there anyway to retrieve the recording/to convert the .webex file into mp4? My guess is that since i did't manually stop the recording the file didnt get converted properly.

I'm thankful for any advice.

I guess (!) that I have read in this forum some time ago, that a .webex file is in fact an MP4 file.
You may try to change the file-extension and open it with e.g. VLC...

Same issue, but changing it to a .mp4 did not do the trick for me....

Did you try VLC as player since it´s often capable to handle even dented/slightly damaged files?

Totally. Doesn't open.

my last idea:
try to open and convert the file.

Suggestion: I like to use this tool since it´s also available as portable software (= no installation = no admin privileges required).
XMedia Recode - Video Converter (xmedia-recode.de)

(note: tool is  1. Windows only and 2. not self-explanatory)
