Native Webex for Linux client not allowing guest login

Like probably many here, I was happy to finally see the release of a native Webex for Linux app. However, am I overlooking something, or does the app require a webex login, thus not allowing a guest login? That would be a shame, as we would like to use the client primarily in a context where users do not have/want a webex registration. Is there a way?

I found a workaround at least though this is still a bug on 44.8.0.30404 in Linux Mint 21.3 Cinnamon.

Assuming WebEx is not currently opened. Click URL to join the meeting and the Open WebEx prompt, if presented this. WebEx will open up but open to the issue where there is no Join as a guest option. Click the sign in button but don't do anything else. Go back and re-join the meeting URL. The WebEx window may flash but otherwise nothing will change. Simply click the back arrow and you should now be presented the option to Join as a guest option.
