If you use the Edit Playback option in Webex Recordings, you're probably used to seeing the gear icon in order to edit the playback and "trim" the beginning and end. In our latest update they changed the icon from a gear to a box with a stick in the upper right corner.

This has confused several of our staff who thought the edit feature had been removed. I provided feedback to Cisco TAC that this icon is not recognizable as an edit icon for our uses and asked if they could change back to the gear icon or possibly just use the pencil.
In addition to changing the icon, you now have to start playing the video before any of the menu options appear on the screen.
There is also a bug with the current version of the Edit Playback but it is scheduled to be fixed in a future release. For the time being, if you need to trim only the beginning or just the end, you will still need to trim both of them in order for it to save the change. If you don't trim from the beginning and the end, it will not save the change.
I'm curious to know what others think about the change that was made for the Edit icon and if there are any suggestions on what would be best for all users.
