Not able to copy and paste from MS Office to Cisco WebEx Chat

Hi All,

I am facing a issue where users not able to copy and paste from MS Office(Outlook, Word, Excel ….) to Cisco WebEx Chat.

At the same time Copy and paste works fine from Notepad, browsers etc.. Non MS Office products to WebEx Application.

Hi All,

After TS came to conclusion that the issue is triggered due to DLP. After updating the DLP settings issue got resolved.

Do you mean in a Meeting Chat or in a Webex Space?

Cut and paste should work as expected from any application in a Webex Space chat

Can you please also share the version you are running?

Even Cut paste doesn't work.

It's on WebEx App Space.

Hi.

Try to reset your webex client going to "Help" --> "Health Checker" and click the "Reset" link on the bottom left

Hi,

I have done already, tried reinstalling also different versions but no luck.

Even opened Cisco TAC case, they confirmed nothing from WebEx.

Don't know if it can help but I've encountred a similar issue from word to Whatsapp app for Mac.

Just Upgrading the Word App and all started working again.

I suggest you to try to reinstall Word APP.

Does copy and paste work with another client such as MS Teams?

Enabling Markdown with Ctrl+M on Windows before pasting is a handy shortcut for a smoother editing experience. 

Markdown is enabled already and paste doesn't work.

You need to enable Markdown before pasting, the shortcut toggle button is Ctrl+M on Windows

The above shared solution is different to my issue. It gets copy from MS Office(Outlook,Word,Excel) and there is nothing in the chat after paste. 

I think...it is a known issue related to webex...
