Recently (since the last upgrade), some participants trying to joon our Webex-meetings, are denied access and get an error message that says: Unable to join or start the meeting. The meeting host has restricted access tot his meeting. Please contact the meeting host’.
For us is unclear why they get this message and how we can prevent this from happening.

I would like to inform you that i just faced the same issue and was searching for a solution.
In my experience it comes with the version of the application.
For my meeting, we had placed registration and lobby, however,from phone one person couldn't join.
Solution:
Suggested to them to update the app and it worked. (Lobby was not supported in their app version)
Apart from above solution you can ask them to register if it is enabled.

Webex offers several features to restrict access to a meeting, like automatically locking a meeting x minutes after start
or allow only people with an account in this site or require participants to register in advance of the meeting...
