I want to pipe audio from my computer (playing on my computer) into a Webex meeting. Basically, instead of screen sharing I want to audio share. Can this be done, and if so how?

Thanks, guys. Turns out, Webex has an option for this, just not at any place that I would have thought to look for it. Do Share Content, and at the upper left of the dialog box that comes up change the option to Optimize for motion and video. Then you'll have a checkbox at the upper right, Share your computer audio . Who'd a thunk?

Yeah, I didn't mean to imply that I *didn't* want to use screen sharing, but I see now how my words gave that impression.

@Der Wald
Well, I guess most of us already know that - but you clearly said that you do not want to use Screen-sharing..

You may try to share just the Audio-player-application instead of the whole screen.
You may also try to simply connect the audio-out of your computer to the audio-in and select this port as Source in Webex.

This method may be helpful if it was not engineered out of MacOS and iOS in recent updates. https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/play-audio-iphone-mac/
