"Seen By"

Since the last update of WebEx Teams, messages sent to me will show a "seen by" indication at the sender's side, same as I can see if people have seen messages I have sent them.

Is there any way this notification can be switched off?

The fact that "seen by" cannot be switched off is a horrible product decision.
