We're testing Webex's real-time translation feature, and we're having some issues. It seems translations work well when moving from English to other languages (Spanish, Chinese, etc.) But when non-English speakers use the service, nothing happens.
For example: We had one Spanish-speaking user, who set their Closed Captions language to "Espanol." The rest of us set our captions to "Do Not Translate" (because there's no option for "English.") When we spoke in English, the Spanish-speaking user saw our speech translated fairly accurately into Spanish text. But when they spoke in Spanish, their speech did NOT translate into English.
Are we doing something wrong? Is there a setting that will let English speakers see English translations of non-English speech?
