User cannot see host's screen share

User is not able to see what the host of the WebEx meeting is presenting on screen share from the user's laptop. User is able to see from their tablet, but not their laptop. 

When I had WebEx meeting with the user, they were able see what I was presenting. I noticed that they had an older version (42.7.0) so I uninstalled their WebEx app and reinstalled it. When it was reinstalled it was the current version (42.9.0). When I tried to screen share with the user now that we both had the current version, they were unable to see when I shared my screen. A white screen with a message saying "JNorris125 is trying to share their screen with you" would appear on the user's side but would then go black. 

User is able to use their tablet to get around this issue on the laptop, but if anyone has some insight that could lead to a resolution of this issue it would be appreciated. Thank you.
