Virtual Background looks fuzzy around participant's outline

We would like to use a firm branded background but we get a fuzzy, bumpy outline around our head and body while using it. Is there a way to address this or is WebEx working on fixing this?

I also have this issue.

I have seen similar issues on several test calls.  Some backgrounds seem to tolerate or mask the fuzzy artifacts and pixelating along the edges better than others.  The problem appears to be the program differentiating the difference between subject and background and could be due to this being a new feature for Webex, which hopefully will be perfected over time.

In the interim, what seems to help in some of our initial testing:

  • A less busy background (blank wall, whiteboard, green screen)
  • Better lighting in front of subject
