Webex Desktop App not working on Mac

My Webex Desktop app has been working perfectly fine until it no longer did a few weeks back. 

I am able to join meetings but am not able to hear or see anything nor can anyone hear or see anything from my end. I am still able to share screen, activate video and so forth however nothing visible on the other end. I am able to see that participants are talking (the moving volume indicators in the participant list) however cannot hear anything being conversed in the meeting. 

When entering the meeting via Browser or through a separate Windows PC or via my iPhone, the meeting works as intended. However when brought back to my Mac, nothing works as intended. Am using the MacBook Pro 16-inch with M1 Pro chip, have tried uninstalling, reinstalling, clearing webex cache and so forth to no avail. Could not find any similar scenarios thus hoping if anyone has any solution for this on Mac.
