Webex Desktop App will not connect, but browser does

I am having a strange problem with my Webex Desktop App. In my network I have a PING Communication fiber Gateway and a Netgear Router. If I daisy chain the Router to the GW, I am able to use my Webex Application to connect to my meetings.
However, if I configure my router as a Access Point, or connect directly to the GW, I am not able to use the Desktop App, but I am able to connect to the meeting through my browser.
Any suggestions?

I changed DNS to 8.8.8.8 and in fact, that resolved the issue. Thank you!

quick idea: Did you check the DNS-Settings on all those devices?
