Webex Meetings - accessibility reviews

Hi,

We have a group of Webex Meetings users that have a variety of disabilities, i understand the VPAT states Webex is 508 compliant with exceptions and have tested with macOS Voiceover and Windows Narrator and definitely works since the last couple updates. While we understand some platforms work better than others for certain things such as Webex for security, our users still state that Zoom and Microsoft Teams is significantly better than Webex for accessibility needs and that Webex is pretty much unusable. My question or discussion topics is, do any of your users have accessibility needs and what is their feedback and any tips or tricks that help their experience such as pinning the sign language interpreters.

Thanks,

Ted

We installed a Cisco phone with Speed Dials to each department in our front lobby.  Since COVID, we no longer have a receptionist in the lobby so this was installed to let visitors contact the department so they can escort them to their office.  Works great for us.

At the bottom there is a link to the listing of VPATs for the one of a kind Meetings clients. You may also locate on the bottom of the Accessibility Features web page a hyperlink to accessibility upgrades by way of release.

We start with Webex for hard of hearing users and sign language interpreters?  Not much on that page for accessibility compliance, but good tips for end users.  We also point them at Cisco Webex Meetings and Cisco Webex Events Accessibility Features.  At the bottom there is a link to the listing of VPATs for the different Meetings clients.  You will also find on the bottom of the Accessibility Features page a link to accessibility improvements by release.
