I am experiencing issues using the Personal Room feature for Webex Meetings. My own testing seems to confirm that Personal Rooms appear to have a default background setting wherein there is a 5 minute countdown to close the meeting and purge all participants (even if they are in the lobby) at the moment the app thinks the last active user has left.
What makes it even worse is when the meeting is synced to a device (move meeting to video device in more options) the WebEx App takes this to be the last active user leaving the meeting proper and commences the background five minute countdown.
I've confirmed this by testing not syncing and syncing Personal Room meetings: when the meeting is not synced there is no idle shutdown. As soon as you move the meeting to a device, though, exactly five minutes after this the meeting will always shutdown and purge everyone in lobby, provided in the interim time nobody is brought into the meeting proper.
This background setting is causing all sorts of issues so my question is: is there anything in the Cisco Webex Control Hub to change this setting, be that to disable it or just raise the timeout to something more reasonable? I work in a situation where we need the meetings to subsist all day.
I do not want to schedule meetings as the scheduling option has many and varied issues itself that far outweigh the hurdle i've outlined above. Any help appreciated though, thanks !
