WebEx Plugin is not longer working with New Outlook for Mac (v16.42)

Just a FYI to every Mac user using WebEx. If you install the new Outlook for Mac version 16.42, WebEx plugin in Outlook will no longer work. I discovered that the hard way.

Is there an update when WebEx plugin will be available for new outlook on mac ?

I found a work around, well, it worked for me. It was somewhere on CEC, but I can't find the link

When you create a meeting invite, put one of these in the Location:

@meet or @webex, or https://cisco.webex.com/meet/<your UID>

The webex details will not show up immediately. I had to send the invite, wait several minutes and then when you open the invite, it will display the Webex meeting details

Until Webex updates their plugin. You can disable "New Outlook" in the upper right hand corner of Outlook. You'll be able to use the webex plugin as before
