I have enabled the show availability and status in the Webex teams tool .but still my availability is not shown in the Webex teams. It leads to a lot of confusion.

Your availability is only visible to people within your organization. People outside your organization will never see your availability (I hope they make external visibility an option in the app or Control Hub at some point).
If people inside your org are not seeing your availability, but do see others, then I would recommend clearing your Webex Cache and/or resetting the local database.

Reset local database: Profile picture -> Help -> Health Checker -> Reset Database
