Editing Redcording with Camtasia 2020

I have always recorded my Webex meetings and editted them with Camtasia with great success.  Recently (September 2022) I cannot edit the recordings cleanly.  I lose audio, cannot fast forward without losing audio, cannot edit out small errors, etc. Did the compression change on the recordings?

This is very frustrating as all of our training sessions and meetings are recorded using Webex and not being able to edit out or add intro/extra slides is frustrating.

Does the original Webex MP4 file playback fine? If so, then it may be an issue with camtasia and you may want open a support case with them for help. We noticed an issue around the same time as yours where the audio in the original MP4 file would cut in and out when played back via VLC player; however, when we used Windows Media Player it was fine. Cisco support couldn't figure out the problem.
