Currently using Webex Events for scheduled online classes at a University. Another person has scheduled all of the events and added me as alt host and multiple professors as panelists.
When I attempt to start (or panelists attempt to join) the meeting via the green button in the Webex desktop app, it only launches a browser window with the global call-in numbers.
We can still join via the links in the calendar appointments and I can start the event via the "Start" button on the meeting/event details page in the web version. Wondering if there is any way to change/fix this or if there is a known reason why starting and joining via the app does not work. We have been telling users to join via the app to make sure it's using the desktop app instead of the web version of Meetings/Events but now the Start/Join buttons in the app are just confusing people when they don't do what they are expected to do.
