EWC on Catalyst Access Point, Management Interface VLAN

I have an EWC on Catalyst installation that supports APs installed in different subnets. The controller is in one of these subnets.

I believe if a AP in one of the other subnets became the controller, the controller would be inaccessible. Does EWC "know" not to assign the controller role to these APs? Would the EWC simply fail to start and get assigned to a different AP until successful?

Can I assign a VLAN to the management interface so that it is accessible if placed in another subnet?

None of these are possible in essence and or would 'auto happen' ; best is to keep control and configure EWC capable APs as either being EWC or in CAPWAP mode ,

If I put a EWC capable AP in CAPWAP mode, will it still be managed by the EWC?

If you mean , can it be managed by another EWC then the question is yes ,
