Global AP Regulatory Domain

Hi

Just purchased our first WiFi 7 9176I APs for use in the UK (E regulatory domain), these have an inbuilt GPS chip so they can determine where they are located and set their Regulatory Domain accordingly.  I have also configured the AP Join Profile with GB as the location.  I had assumed that once they had joined a controller and determined their location they would show E as the Regulatory Domain, however they show RW (Rest of World).  Just wanted some reassurance that RW is what I should be seeing.

Thanks in advance

  - @ac5334   Presumably this is not a problem because of the GPS functionality. If the AP has joined normally then it will
                      work ,

take a look at this: https://www.cisco.com/c/dam/assets/prod/wireless/wireless-compliance-tool/index.html
select country =  United Kingdom
that also include "ROW" as possible regulatory domain
unfortunately this field is blank for the CW9176D1 , but I don't think you will encounter problems for this.

 - @pieterh  The topic does not apply to ROW capable as these models just set the regulatory domain according to the country they are in , obtained with the GPS ,

@Mark Elsen
Hi Mark,
yes that is how I read the informatin in the table, not as a separate regulatory domain, but as the  AP is suitable for ROW.
stll the field is empty for this model,
this occurs for all countries! maybe WiFi7 is not yet approved in all countries, so Cisco cannot claim complaiance for ROW?

 - @pieterh  You should understand this differently :  these APs dont' do ROW , they simply adapt to the country's regulatory domain,
