Question about virtual Wireless lan controller (vWLC)

Hello,

my first question: Can someone give me info/ or has experinece with the possibility to run vWLC as backup controller (with a 5508 as primary)? are there any drawbacks beside the lower troughput of the vWLC?

My second question: If is use multiple vmware instances of vWLC, do i have to buy extra licences or vWLC's or can i run unlimited instances if i buy one vWLC?
