WCS to PI moving to new virtual machine

WCS was exported to NCS on a new virtual machine.

Do I need to re-host the license on NCS 1.1.3.2 or can I upgrade from NCS to PI 1.2.1.12 then re-host the license file ?

Right now I’m at NCS unlicensed.  Can I just upgrade then re-host the license?

Well when you upgrade from WCS to NCS 1.0, you have to export your license and enter that for the new NCS license. If you have the WCS to NCS 1.1, you should of had a license that would cover your existing WCS license.

So it depends on what migration you were sold. If you didn't buy any migration license, then you need to purchase new NCS license.

After this is all done, then upgrade to PI as it will use the same license as NCS.
