What kind of Cisco AP model support autonomous mode, without WLC (not site survey mode)??

Need a in between solution for APs..

need to find out the CISCO AP model that support standalone mode (autonomous mode) for now. AND these AP will convert to lightweight (with WLC) at later time.

The current new 3700, 2700 and 1700 seems all use WLC.. the autonomous mode feature is limited to site survey mode..

Any other AP model is good for both function??

All APs mentioned support autonomous mode.  All you need is the autonomous IOS and this can be sourced with a valid Service Contract or contact TAC (and maybe they can publish the IOS for you).
