WLC 9800 down

I am going to migrate my WLC 2504 to a WLC 9800 L-C

My WLC 2504 is using two ports
1 port connected to the network
1 port connected to a Cisco 2811 (for guest output)

Note: the Cisco 2811 only works at 10 and 100 mb

These same connections will pass to the WLC 9800 L-C

So, my port TwoGigabitEthernet0/0/1 of the WLC 9800 is connected to the Cisco 2811, but this connection does not work.

When I connect the Cisco 2811 to port TenGigabitEthernet0/1/0 of the WLC the connection is up

Why does the connection only wake up when the Cisco 2811 is connected to a port Ten and does not wake up when it is on a port two?

this is the output from my wlc 9800, currently I only have the service port connected

 mGig ports  - may be try adding speed  command with speed lower and see if that work.

Not that top of my head speed nonegotiate works on WLC
