Domain ID question

While setting up the Nexus Supervisor Module... it is asking me for Domain ID, my question is do I have to enter the same Domain ID which was assigned to the physical switch in Fabric? or I can assign a different Domain ID for VSM.  Thanks,

The domain ID is unique to the 1000v instance.  This is what distinguishes one 1000v instance from others if you have muliple running in your environment.  As long as your domain IDs are different between 1000v instances in your network, you can use the same Control & Packet VLANs without causing any interference between them.

There's no need to match this with any phsyical switch in your network, but I would suggest setting it to something other than the default of "1".
