Best solution to broadcast to many TV's on a LAN?

If this is not the right place, please remove or move.  Thanks.

What would be the best solution to broadcast Webex to multiple TV's over a LAN? We're trying to avoid wireless.  From what I've found, a mini PC might be the only option. It's not the preferred due to end user ability. But, if we have to it's fine.  Has anyone done this with a Pi? Or maybe a mini windows pc? Any suggestions are welcome.

Thank you.

Hi

There are a few different ways to broadcast Webex to multiple TVs over a LAN. One option is to use a mini PC, such as a Raspberry Pi or a Windows mini PC. This is a good option if you need a more reliable solution that doesn't require any wireless connections. You can install the Webex software on the mini PC and then connect it to the TVs using HDMI cables.

Another option is to use a streaming device, such as a Chromecast or an Apple TV. This is a more user-friendly option, but it does require a wireless connection. You can cast the Webex meeting from your computer or mobile device to the streaming device, which will then display the meeting on the TV.

If you're looking for a more cost-effective option, you can also use a software solution, such as AirPlay or Miracast. These solutions allow you to mirror your computer or mobile device's screen to the TV. However, they may not be as reliable as a dedicated hardware solution.

Here are some specific suggestions for broadcasting Webex to multiple TVs over a LAN:

  • Raspberry Pi: The Raspberry Pi is a popular mini PC that can be used for a variety of tasks, including broadcasting Webex meetings. You can install the Webex software on the Raspberry Pi and then connect it to the TVs using HDMI cables.
  • Windows mini PC: There are a number of Windows mini PCs available, such as the Intel NUC or the Zotac ZBOX. These mini PCs are more powerful than the Raspberry Pi and can handle more demanding tasks, such as streaming high-definition video.
  • Chromecast: The Chromecast is a popular streaming device that can be used to cast Webex meetings from your computer or mobile device to the TV. The Chromecast is a relatively inexpensive option and is easy to set up.
  • Apple TV: The Apple TV is another popular streaming device that can be used to cast Webex meetings from your computer or mobile device to the TV. The Apple TV is more expensive than the Chromecast, but it offers a number of features that the Chromecast does not, such as AirPlay support.
