The Cisco Preferred Architecture documentation is located at https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/uc_system/design/guides/PAdocs.html. Within the Webex Edge section there is a new Video Mesh document (July 2021).

hi all,

thanks for the material.

do you know if there is any material concerning private meeting functionality of the video mesh nodes?

Jeffrey,

We don't have any public documentation yet as this feature is targeted to be GA in July.   The general concept is that all media for the meeting is hosted on the Video Mesh and stays on the corporate network.  There is a new session type in Webex "Private Meetings" that is used to schedule a private meeting.  The VMN does not create media cascades but still needs a signaling link to Webex for these meetings.  Attendees can be users of the meeting host org only and devices registered in the host org  can connect to the meeting.  On-premises registered to UCM or Expressway can connect also.   Additionally, the user and devices must have IP connectivity to the Video Mesh.
