Hi everybody,
A customer that I have build ACI Multi-Pod for have just noticed that they can't pass any packets with a payload higher than 1430 bytes between the pods.
The IPN nodes are Nexus 77K which have MTU 9000 configured on the Spine facing interface but only MTU 1500 on the DCI interface as this is a limitation from the DCI provider.
My understanding from the multi-pod documentation at the design and implementation phase was that the solution above is a viable one and that the IPN only needs the increased MTU towards the Spines and that the IP network between the IPNs does not necessarily need to be MTU 9000 capable, as the IPN nodes will fragment and forward the jumbo frames accordingly.
Can anyone confirm if my understanding is correct? If it is then there might be a different problem. If it isn't then the MTU requirement on the whole IP network between the IPN nodes is an issue and if anybody has a suggestion how to solve this.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Increased MTU is necessary not only on the Spine to IPN, but across the IPN as well (DCI)
